Psalms 139:13-16
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
I was at Wincos Food the other day and while checking out, a lady stopped me and asked if I was a Golden. She then ask if I was one of the triplets. I told her yes and my name and she starts smiling and telling me about how she knew me when we were babies and how she came to know us through one of our cousins. She said she hasn’t seen us since we were kids and thought I looked like one of the triplets. I reintroduced myself and told her to take care.
As I sat today thinking about this verse I thought how cool, (yes I said cool) it was to be recognized after so many years have passed. But how AMAZING it is that God knew me before I was even created. He knew that I would be born as a triplet into the Golden family to Lugene and Gloria Golden. He knew all about me before I existed.
Sometimes it’s nice to be recognized by others as one of the Golden triplets. But it’s AMAZING to me to be known by God. God knew us even before we were born and even knows when our time is up on this earth. Since we are here for His purpose, I feel like I owe Him my best. I owe Him my all and plan to give Him my all.
